There is a Birthday celebration going on at the Meadow in Virginia March 29-30, 2013. The event will be held at The Meadow in Caroline County, Virginia where Secretariat was born on March 30, 1970. The property, now known as Meadow Event Park, is owned by CF&E and the Virginia Farm Bureau.
Penny Chenery and Ron Turcotte are scheduled to attend the event as well. Happy Birthday Big Red, may your grand daughters, grand sons and beyond keep your spirit alive.
